As bike riders, we appreciated the convenient location near the canal for biking excursions. the retro 1940's decor and modern room upgrades were a unique touch. Vincent, the host, went above and beyond by helping us with our bags and offering a take-away breakfast for our early departure.
Felt like part of the family, no reason to complain.

The room we stayed in was incredibly spacious, offering a stunning 180-degree view of the city. the large house had a fascinating history and was tastefully adorned with an eclectic art collection. the bed and bedding provided were of excellent quality, ensuring a comfortable and cozy stay. the pleasant neighborhood location right by the canal made it convenient to explore the town center. A short walk over an iron bridge led us to the shopping and historical districts, adding to the charm of our romantic escape.
The overall upkeep of the hotel left much to be desired. the neglected garden, overgrown with plants, was not visually appealing.
